Amarasi

Background

Amarasi (ISO: aaz) is a Timoric language spoken in the Kupang Regency of Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia. A member of the (Uab) Meto dialect/language continuum, Amarasi is closely related to the nearby languages of Rote Island. Since 2019, I've been working with local community members to document and study Amarasi as well as other Meto varieties such as Amanuban and Miomafo. Feel free to get in touch if you're interested in working together!
